The KLink is an electronic messaging suite capable of generating and processing messages using the standards of S.W.I.F.T (Society of Worldwide Financial Telecommunication). It is highly adaptable and may be used in conjunction with any messaging platform that depends on the ISO standards of the electronic messaging. The increased need to handle large number of payments promptly and free from manual processes calls for a high level of automation, connectivity to internal and external applications, better inter-operability plus high safety and security requirements. KLink application has been designed to support ISO/SWIFT standards and also with a view to XML (ISO 20022) standards.
Message Type
Additional messages can be added upon request and agreement of terms and conditions. The enhanced version can handle the equivalents of the above messages in the ISO 20022 (XML) format in addition to the older formats. The option to choose translation facility will come in handy for banks looking for an interim solution while banking systems evolve to accommodate ISO 20022 formats.
KLink Architecture
KLink makes the use of web technologies such as HTTP, XML and .NET to create an ideal application for thin client connectivity to SWIFT. With its flexibility, ease of rollout and centralized administration has already been recognized by financial institutions of all sizes. It automatically validates messages before being sent to SWIFT or any other proprietry network. It is easy to interface with any of the accounting or banking systems. KLink system security provides extensive user control for every stage of the workflow process, that is customizable to suite the users' requirements. KLink can also support validation of messages from core banking application, helping banks to avoid rejection of payments messages by SWIFT and/or RTGS systems.
